Objective To investigate the relation of the position of double-lumen balloon catheter and the failure to display the homolateral oviduct in Hystersalpingography(HSG).Materials and Methods From October 2005,the patients according with the standard that there is no interspace between the head of catheter and uterine horn were selected in our experiment. The opposite side oviduct in the same patient was taken for contrast.Opening and unidirectional sequential analysis was used and the graph was drawn immediately after examination. Results The line reached upper boundary U till the emergence of 18th discrepant case. Conclusion As an improvement to traditional method,double-lumen balloon catheter can increase the efficiency of HSG.However, the inappropriate location of double-lumen balloon catheter may lead to false positive result in HSG.
