摘要
The establishment of a constitutive model that can accurately predict the plastic anisotropy of sheet metals is of great significance to finite element analysis. In this article, a new evaluation strategy based on sufficient and necessary conditions for judging the applicability of Hill48 yield criterion is proposed. Based on experimental data of plastic anisotropy, the necessary and sufficient conditions provide a direct basis for assessing Hill48 yield criterion prediction accuracy. The evaluation equations of the prediction error in typical stress states are also established based on the fitting relationship between the approximation of different materials and the associated feature data. The results show that the prediction error of Hill48 yield criterion for the plastic anisotropy of various sheet metals have a clear linear relationship with the approximation degree evaluation indices. Through systematic evaluation of parameter solution methods on anisotropy prediction, a rational r ‐value range (0.8, 1.0) for assessing Hill48 yield criterion applicability is established, which can replace the rough judging method based on material type. Finally, diverse parameter calibration methods and Yld2000‐2d yield criterion are implemented in deep‐drawing cup simulations. The advantages of the proposed yield criterion are further validated through quantitative analysis of earing height and wall thickness distributions.
