摘要
We propose a vector fiber-optic accelerometer based on a hinge structure, utilizing the end faces of three single-mode fibers and an aluminum foil reflective surface to form an extrinsic Fabry–Perot interferometer cavity for vector detection of two-dimensional plane acceleration. Test results show that the accelerometer has a natural frequency of 420 Hz and a sensitivity exceeding 2600 pm/g. It has good recognition ability for the vibration acceleration direction on the two-dimensional plane; the directional error of the accelerometer is 4.1°. The accelerometer has high sensitivity and a simple structure and can be combined with a single-component accelerometer to achieve three-dimensional vibration acceleration detection, with broad application prospects in oil and gas exploration and other fields.
