摘要
We designed a high school chemistry experiment conducted with a lab-on-paper for preservice chemistry teachers. The experiment is based on the chromogenic reactions occurring on micro paper zones. Preservice teachers fabricated the paper devices and then used them to identify and quantify the ferrous iron in an iron-rich liquid. Upon completion of this experiment, they wrote an experimental report and designed instruction for high school chemistry teaching utilizing lab-on-paper technology. Lab-on-paper has the advantages of miniaturized consumption, low cost, easy and fast fabrication, and ease of use and shows great potential in chemistry teaching and learning in high schools. This practice has served as a laboratory experiment in a compulsory course High School Chemistry Experiment Teaching Research for chemical education undergraduates in the fifth semester. Ninety students participated in this practice and provided positive feedback, indicating that the learning objectives and instructional aims were met.
