Given the escalating global prevalence of non-communicable chronic diseases (NCDs), how to maintain health and obtain a higher quality of life has emerged as a prominent societal issue. To meet this problem, Proactive Health, regarded as the future direction of health management, was initially proposed in China. However, many people still struggle to change their detrimental lifestyle due to few daily products and services that can motivate people to act. This study aims to summarize the correlation between Proactive Health and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory to propose design strategies for healthy products in lifestyle, such as diet, exercise, music, relaxation, digestion, and sunbathing. This research conducted comparative analyses of domestic and international products from the perspective of health factors. A questionnaire survey was also employed to understand user needs and their usage experiences. The conclusion is that the design of Proactive Health products based on TCM theory should focus on disease prevention by promoting healthy lifestyles and offering systematic and personalized health management plans after comprehensively considering various lifestyle factors. This research provides valuable guidance for the development of healthy products.
