Manifestation of Multistability in Different Systems

AbstractMultistability is a widespread phenomenon observed in diverse dynamical systems. In this chapter, we give the most representative examples of multistability in discrete and continuous systems, including fractional-order systems. Particular attention is given to multistability in coupled oscillators and popular neural models. Finally, we present the most interesting examples of the manifestation of multistability in various dynamical systems, from mechanical and thermochemical to climatic and space systems.
