On Research of Correlation between Direct and Indirect Measured Arterial Blood Pressure

Objective To investigate the correlation between direct and indirect measured arterial blood pressure.Method Fifty cases with coronary angiography and PTCA+Stenting were recruited and right femoral artery was punctuated with seldinger's method.The direct arterial blood pressure was measured by multichannel physiological recorder;the indirect blood pressure was done by the method of korotkoff with a stethoscope from mercury sphygmomanometer.Result The direct systolic arterial blood pressure has a significant correlative with indirect arterial blood pressure (r=0.92,P0.05),the diastolic pressure has a closed correlative with indirect arterial blood pressure when muffling sound was used as well.Conclusion Noninvasive blood pressure has a significant correlative with invasive blood pressure.For the phases of korotkoff,muffling sound is more accurate in getting a diastolic blood pressure.
