PREPARATION OF BOROHYDRIDE POLYMER REAGENT AND ITS APPLICATION

Potassium borohydride was reacted with 717# anion exchangeresin to get borohydride polymer reagent. Its reductive capacity for benzaldehydewas 3.5 mmol/g dried resin. It was used to reduce several carbonyl compoundswith good yields.
