Experimental study on chemotherapeutic drug sensitivity of hepatocellular carcinoma determinated by MTT

OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of cancer drug sensitivity on liver cancer chemotherapeutic selecting of drugs.METHODS We cultured tissue of 12 liver cancer patients in vitro,intervening with 9 chemotherapeutic drugs used commonly in clinic.MTT was used to determine inhibitory rate of chemotherapeutic drugs to cancer cells.RESULTS There were significant differences in inhibitory rate of 9 chemotherapeutic drugs to liver cancer cells(P0.01).Liver cancer was highly sensitive to docetaxel,medium sensitive to Zefei,cisplatin,carboplatin,adriamycin,mitomycin and 5-fluorouracil,low sensitive to hydroxycamptothecin and Gemzar.CONCLUSION Cancer drug sensitivity test is important in liver cancer chemotherapy.It is helpful to select sensitive drugs for chemotherapy.It could realize individualized treatment,increase the curative effect and reduce the side effect,with determinating inhibitory rate of chemotherapeutic drugs to liver cancer cells by MTT and thereby optimizing the chemotherapeutic schemes of sensitive drugs.
