Review of the Correlation between Earthquake Damage of Underground Structures and Ground Motion Parameters

The ground motion parameters are the results of the seismic dynamic calculation. The review of investigation on the performance of large size underground openings during past seismic events has been presented, and different factors such as peak ground acceleration, peak ground velocity, seismic magnitude etc on the effect of damage have been examined. The research results are of great significance for the analysis of seismic damage of underground structures.
