摘要
The anodic behavior of the V2O5 single crystal electrode is investigated in the dark and under illumination, in indifferent electrolyte and in the presence of various reducing agents. In darkness and in the absence of reducing agents, a blocking contact is established over a range which can amount to several volts. The current is increased under illumination. Many reducing agents are able to inject electrons into the V2O5 anode. A relationship is sought between the occurrence of the injection process and the redox potential of the reactants. The possible significance of the results to heterogeneous catalysis is discussed.
