the kansas satellite image database ksid 2000 2001 consists of terrain corrected precision rectified spring summer and fall landsat 5 thematic mapper tm and landsat 7 enhanced thematic mapper etm imagery covering the state of kansas tiled by county in geotiff format while some county triplicates date wholly from either 2000 or 2001 some county triplicates were constructed using imagery from both 2000 and 2001 the ksid 2000 2001 consists of raw data and visual products the raw dataset consists of the seven tm or eight etm geometrically corrected landsat bands in their original units dn values the visual dataset consists of three products normalized difference vegetation index ndvi images false colorinfrared composites and resolution enhanced natural color composites
