With purpose to evaluate clinical efficacy benefits of combined use of low-intensity extracorporeal shock-wave therapy (LESWT) and local negative pressure therapy (LNPT) in erectile dysfunction (ED) treatment. A prospective study was conducted throughout 2017 on a clinical base of Private Clinic “Consilium” (Kiev, Ukraine) on a contingent of 60 patients with diagnosis of moderate (according to IIEF-5 score) erectile dysfunction of vascular genesis (ICD-10: N48.4). Questionnaire “International Index of Erectile Function 5” (IIEF-5) and “Erectile Hardness Score” (EHS) were used as instruments of clinical evaluation of therapy efficacy. As a statistical method chi-square test was used. The contingent of a study was randomized on main (30 patients) and control (30 patients) group which were symmetrical by age, IIEF-5 and EHS scoring. Mani group underwent 6 week-long treatment with combination of LESWT (2 sessions per week, 3000 strikes in 7 standard areas of penis, frequency 10 Hz, total power up to 1 mJ/mm2) and LNPT (2 sessions per week at same days as LESWT sessions). Control group underwent only LESWT treatment with same parameters and course duration. 6 weeks after treatment IIEF-5 and EHS scores were compared to initial data. IIEF-5 scores showed improvement (from moderate to mild ED) in 19 cased (63,3%) in main group and in 17 cases (56,7%) in control group (p=0,59). EHS showed improvement by 1 point or more in 22 cases (73,3%) both in main and control group.
