摘要
A two years2 (1997–1998) study on persistence of propineb (Antracol 70 WP) was undertaken in apple (at two locations) and tomato at Nauni following the application at two doses 2.5 and 5.0 kg a.i./ha. More than 80% of the initial residues dissipated within 15 days of application in apple irrespective of doses and locations. The residue was detectable up to 30 days in apple and 10 days in tomato. Assuming first order kinetics the half-life values varied from 2.30 to 3.27 for tomato and 3.60 to 6.97 days for apple. The safe waiting periods of 15 and 5 days are recommended for apple and tomato, respectively.
