Micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography(MECC) with electrochemical detection has been developed for the separation and determination of clenbuterol hydrochloride, terbutaline and salbutamol in pork. The detection electrode was a platinum disc electrode at a detection potential of +1.00V(versus Ag/AgCl electrode). The effects of the acidity and the concentration of the running buffer, separation voltage, injection time, and detection potential were investigated to acquire the optimum conditions. The analytes were baseline separated within 17 min at a separation voltage of 10 KV in a 15 mmol/L sodium borate buffer(pH9.00) containing 20 mmol/L sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS).Linear ranges for clenbuterol hydrochloride, terbutaline and salbutamol were 2.0~400 μg/L,3.5~700 μg/L,and 5.0~1000 μg/L,respectively.
