Synthesis and Characterization of Non-isocyanate Polyurethane

A preparation method of isocyanate-free polyurethane was proposed using dimethylhexane-1,6-dicarbamate(HDU)as a curing agent.The structure of the obtained polyurethane was confirmed by means of IR,NMR,and GPC.When the molar ratio of HDU to polyether glycol 3000 was 1∶1,the reaction temperature was 180 ℃,a weight-average molecular weight of 8.5×104 was obtained after 1 hour.
