Reliability and Validity of Interpersonal Communication Scale for Adolescent when Applied to Mongolian Adolescents

The study adopted Interpersonal Communication Scale for Adolescent to investigate 1768 Mongolian students' mental health dialysis of Interpersonal Communication.The result of Item Analysis showed that 21 of the scale met psychometric criteria.The scale's internal consistency was 0.7828.Subjects with higher scale scores also had significantly higher scores in every factor than those with lower scale scores,and this scale could effectively differentiate the high and low level subjects.The construct validity of scale was supported by exploratory factor analysis.The confirmationary factor analysis showed that the sample data fit for the hypothesized three factor model,with all coefficients over standard level.The scale had acceptable psychometrics properties on reliability and validation and can be used for Mongolian Adolescents.
