Construction and Administration Status of Biosafety Laboratory in China

The establishment and administration status of biosafety laboratory in China was elucidated based on the literature,data from government websites,and personal experience in biosafety.Biosafety level 3 laboratories were built in China initially from 1980s.Up to the present,there are a number of biosafety laboratories(BSL-2 and BSL-3) in China.The establishment and administration of biosafety laboratory in China shall comply with the national laws and regulations,and their activities shall be permitted by the official department.Biosafety laboratories in China are playing a more and more important role in national health and economy.
