Surgical treatment for in cipient pterygium.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of an opcration to incipient pterygium.Methods The patients with incipient pterygium were treated with microscopic pterygium resection and conjunctival flap reconstrucion.Results The postoperative follow_up periods ranged from 5 to 24 months.No case of recurrence was observed in 32 cases of pterygium with 38 eyes.Conclusion Pterygium resection and conjunctival flap reconstruction is simple and effictive to incipient pterygium.
