Effects of Environment-friendly Aromatic Oil on Processibility of Solution Styrene Butadiene Rubber

The effects of environment-friendly aromatic oil(TDAE) on the processibility of solution styrene butadiene rubber(SSBR) were investigated and compared to the aromatic oil(DAE).The test results showed that,by using TDAE instead of DAE,the Mooney viscosity of SSBR and SSBR mixed stock was decreased at first and then increased as the kinematic viscosity or aromatic content of oils increased.The Mooney scorch time of compound extended,the curing rate decreased,and as aromatic content of oils decreased,t90 gradually extended.The rubber compound had good tackiness,and die swell ratio decreased.The physical properties of vulcanizate changed little.
