The finite element model of compressor rotor of marine gas turbine was built.Mode analysis of the rotor was done and critical speed and unbalance response of rotor were calculated.Influence on dynam ic characteristics of rotor by increase in stiffness was analyzed.The results show the rotor is a rigid rotor.Vi bration behavior of rotor is affected mainly by first mode.Critical speed of rotor is 12825r/min.Unbalance response of rotor is most sensitive to unbalance at 4th disc.Results also show that critical speed of rotor is not sensitive to stiffness change,which yet has an effect on unbalance response of rotor.The conclusion pro vides references for optimization design of the rotor.
