摘要
Abstract RNA–protein interactions are fundamental to a wide range of biological processes, and understanding these interactions in their native cellular context is both vital and challenging. Traditional methods for studying RNA–protein interactions rely on crosslinking, which can introduce artifacts. Recently, proximity labeling‐based techniques have emerged as powerful alternatives, offering a crosslinking‐free approach to investigate these interactions. This review highlights recent advancements in the development and application of proximity labeling methods, focusing on both RNA‐centric and protein‐centric strategies for profiling cellular RNA–protein interactions. By examining these innovative approaches, we aim to provide insights into their potential for enhancing our understanding of RNA–protein dynamics in various biological settings.
