First principles study of blue phosphorene heterostructures as Li-ion battery anode material

Blue phosphorene (BP) and silicene heterostructure shows potential as anode material for Li-ion batteries, with significantly lowered lithium adsorption energy, low diffusion barrier of 0.2 eV, and 0.26 eV bandgap, indicating excellent performance.
