摘要
Hot pressing is a crucial production process in the manufacturing of bamboo scrimber. During hot pressing, due to the synergistic effects of temperature, moisture and porosity, a certain degree of “boiler effect” occurs within the board. This effect influences the migration of temperature and humidity in the core of the board. This study investigated the variation of the temperature field in the core layer and the moisture migration pattern within the board during the hot pressing process of bamboo scrimber. The results indicate that under the influence of the “boiler effect”, the temperature distribution within the bamboo scrimber is higher in the middle and lower around the edges. Simultaneously, during the pressure-maintaining process, the “boiler effect” leads to the formation of a distinct steam boiler at the centre of the board, causing moisture to migrate towards the periphery. Water cooling for the hot press further creates a low-pressure zone within the board, which leads to moisture reflux towards the centre. Ultimately, a state emerges where the moisture content is higher in the centre of the board and lower around the edges.
