Blow-Up Phenomena for the Novikov Equation and the FORQ Equation with High-Order Nonlinear Term

In this paper, we investigate the blow-up phenomena for the Novikov equation and the FORQ equation with high-order nonlinear term $$\gamma u^{p}u_{x}$$ . It is the special structure of these two equations that we can apply to establish sufficient conditions on the initial data to guarantee blow-up phenomena in finite time.
