Abstract Reactions of 2,2-dichlorovinylsulfonylacetic acid with bifunctional nucleophiles such as aminoalcohols, aminothiols, semi- and thiocarbazide, aminoguanide have been studied. A series of thiazolyl-, oxadiazolyl-, triazolyl-, benzimidazolyl-, imidazolyl-, benzox- and benzothioazolylmethyllsulfonylacetic acids, very promising biologically active compounds have been prepared.
