Over excavation can not be avoided in tunnel construction.This article analyzes influence factors of hard rock tunnel over excavation and the influence of hard rock tunnel technology over excavation on cost,summarizes some technical measures to deal with these issues,which may provide references for construction,budget and cost control in future.
