Normal biochemical reactions for 68 strains isolated from animals and human were determined. The (results) showed that majority of isolates were Salmonella according to bio-chemical reactions.High- and low-lever (resistance) of Salmonella to ciprofloxacin were obtained with serial passage in MH broth containing subinhibitory concentration of indicating ciprofloxacin or enrofloxacin. At the same time, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of six kinds of fluoroquinolones (FQs) to Salmonella of isolates were determined by agar dilution, 23 strains susceptible to ciprofloxacin and other 37 strains resistant to ciprofloxacin were screened out.
