Advance in research on preparation of animal model of hepatic fibrosis

Hepatic fibrosis is the common pathological process of various chronic hepatic diseases,which is the interme-diate stage of hepatocirrhosis.How to make and choose animal models of hepatic fibrosis is the base for the research on prevention and treatment of hepatic fibrosis.The mechanism of methods,routes,effectiveness,advantages and disadvantages of each common animal model of hepatic fibrosis are introduced.The current situation and problems of animal models of hepatic fibrosis are discussed.The consideration in choosing the animal model and research trend is pointed out.
