Preliminary Study on Adolescent' Balance Ability from Hangzhou

To investigate the balance ability of different gender and age of adolescent,one-hundred aged 15-17 year old secondary school students from Hangzhou were conducted a test of static and dynamic balance ability by using eyes closed standing on one foot and the road to go flower beds.The results showed that static balance of the girls was significantly greater than the boys,while the dynamic balance ability of the boys was significantly greater than the girls.Besides,the static balance ability of the young people aged 15 years old was significantly greater than that of 17 years old,while there were no significant differences between the two age groups for the dynamic balance ability.
