Determination of Rhubarb Anthraquinones in Danlehuayu Tablet by Colorimetric Analysis

Objective:To set up a colorimetric assay for the determination of Rhubarb anthraquinones in Danlehuayu Tablet.Methods:It was determined in a 0.5% magniesium acetate-methanol solution at the wavelength of 510 nm by TU-1221 UV-VIS Recording Spectrophotometer.Results:The method was found to be sensitive, easy to operate, accurate and stable.Conclusion:The method can be used in the determination of Rhubarb anthraquinones in Danlehuayu Tablet.
