[Preliminary evaluation of the effects of chemotherapy (cisplatin + 5-fluorouracil) for advanced head and neck neoplasms].

The 45 cases in which the Cisplatin on 5-Fluorouracil was administered for treatment of advanced head and neck cancer was taken into analysis. The chemotherapy was used as: a) a palliation b) an induction chemotherapy before surgery, c) an induction chemotherapy before radiotherapy. The discussion of usefulness of this line of conduct was undertaken.
