Herbal medicine, like Polygonatum sibiricum , is gaining attention for its potential in treating myocardial ischemia. Comprehensive research on its molecular interplay is essential for its development as a therapeutic agent. The aim is to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which Polygonatum sibiricum ameliorates myocardial ischemia. The study involves a thorough database exploration, molecular docking, and the use of both in vivo and in vitro models for detailed assessment. The role of the HIF‐1α pathway is particularly emphasized. Identification of 11 principal components and 23 core proteins, with a dominant role of HIF‐1α, was achieved. A notable improvement in myocardial conditions, attributable to Polygonatum sibiricum , was observed. Polygonatum sibiricum improves myocardial ischemic injury by augmenting mitochondrial activity and enhancing the HIF‐1α pathway.
