摘要
A protocol for photoredox initiated selectively oxo -alkoxylation and hydroxy/hydroperoxy-alkoxylation of gem ‑difluoroalkenes with retention of both fluorine atoms at mild condition has been demonstrated. The reaction strategy offers a facile access to dioxygenation of gem ‑difluoroalkenes with alcohols and molecular oxygen as oxygen source for synthesizing 2-alkoxy-2,2-difluoro-1-arylethan-1-one and (2,2-difluoro-1‑hydroxy/hydroperoxy-2-alkoxyethyl)arene.
