Composition–structure–luminescence and enhancement of Cr3+ activated broadband near infrared phosphors for night vision, bio-imaging, and noninvasive detection

Cr 3+ –Yb 3+ co-activated KScP 2 O 7 phosphors are reported as one key component for all-inorganic broadband NIR pc-LEDs with potential applications in night vision, noninvasive imaging, and non-destructive detection.
