Modifying the electron withdrawing F atoms on the pyridine rings and the electron donating –CH 3 groups on the phenolic hydroxyl rings to improve the SMM behavior of two mononuclear Dy 3+ compounds obtained from the ligand H 2 bmbpen-F.
