Incertae sedis

Previously classified within the Pseudonocardiaceae , this placement of Thermobispora is not consistent with chemotaxonomic markers or subsequent rRNA gene analyses. Thermobispora appears as a deep lineage within the Streptosporangiales but without a clear association with any of the described families.
