Objective To investigate and analyze the clinical effect and untoward effects of estradiol valerate and medroxyprogesterone acetate in the treatment of incomplete abortion. Methods 200 patients with incomplete abortion diagnosed and treated in our hospital were selected and divided into two groups randomly. Estradiol valerate combined with medroxyprogesterone acetate was given to the observation group, and oxytocin was given to the control group for treatment. And the treatment effect of patients in the two groups was compared and analyzed. Results 88 patients are cured in the observation group, and the cure rate is 88.0%;48 patients are cured in the control group, and the cure rate is 48.0%. The difference between the two groups is obvious. The duration of colporrhagia of patients in the observation group is(7.22 ±3.11) d, which is significantly less than that of the control group's(12.33±3.79) d; and the difference in untoward effects between the two groups of patients has no significance. Conclusion The combination of estradiol valerate and medroxyprogesterone acetate has a significant treatment effect on incomplete abortion, by which the continuous bleeding time can be shortened obviously; the method is safe and reliable; the untoward effect is lighter, so it is worthy of being used widely.
