OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents of Lonicerae Japonicaer Flos.METHODS The compounds were isolated and purified by Diaion HP-20,Toyopearl HW-40,and silica gel column chromatography. The structures were identified on the basis of spectral data and physiochemical properties.RESULTS Eleven compounds were isolated and identified as: p-hydroxy-phenol(Ⅰ),1,2,4-benzenetri(Ⅱ),protocatechuic acid(Ⅲ),3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl) propionic acid(Ⅳ),4-hydroxy cinnamie acid(Ⅴ),4-hydroxy cinnamie acid methyl(Ⅵ),caffeic acid methyl ester(Ⅶ),apigenin(Ⅷ),3′-methoxy luteolin(Ⅸ),5,3′-dimethoxy luteolin(Ⅹ),luteolin-5-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅺ).CONCLUSION CompoundsⅠ-Ⅺ were isolated from this plant for the first time.
