The Test Evaluation of MRI in Diagnosing Meniscus Injury of Knee Joint

Objective To further evaluate the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging in meniscus injury of knee joints.Methods 118 cases suspected as meniscus injury of knee joints were performed magnetic resonance imaging scan and arthroscopic examination,the diagnostic test evaluation standard of magnetic resonance imaging in the patients who underwent arthroscopy were calculated.Results There was no significant different in the diagnostic results betweem magnetic resonance imaging and arthroscopy(P=0.549);Taking the result with arthroscopy as standard for the meniscus injury,the diagnostic accuracy of magnetic resonance imaging was 90.68%,the sensitivity was 90.14%,the specificity was 91.49%,the rate of misdiagnosis and leaky-diagno were 8.51% and 9.86%,proved and removes effect of injury were 10.59 and 0.11;Relative operating charactertic curve lie in the top left corner,and was far off the chance line.Conclusion Magnetic resonance imaging were the same with the gold standard(arthroscopy) in the diagnosis of the meniscus injury of the knee joint,and it is already become a very important diagnosis and treatment technology before arthroscopy.
