Application of Small Cumulative Mine in the Disposal of Major and Medium Caliber Unexploded Explosive

The present status and disadvantages of blasting method in the disposal of unexploded explosive are analyzed.Properties and structure parameters such as cartridge thickness,shell materials and charge species of heavy and medium caliber explosive ordnance are studied.The feasibility of disposal of unexploded explosive ordnance by cumulative effect is demonstrated based on the characteristics of the shaped charge jet produced by small caliber cumulative mine,which is confirmed by the destroy tests of 40 mm hollow explosive projectile.
