Study on the Interaction between Berberine Hydrochloride and DNA

The characteristics of the interaction between berberine and ct-DNA were studied by UV-Vis Spectrum, fluorescent spectrum, fluorescent polorization etc. The results show that berberine hydrochloride interacts with ct-DNA in the mode of intercalation. According to the linear relation between the fluorescence intensity and the concentration of berberine, we proposed a method of the content determination of berberine.
