摘要
Stress fractures of the metatarsal in patients with clubfoot are rare complications. In this paper, we studied roentogenographical findings of ten feet in eight cases with stress fractures of the fourth or fifth metatarsal.Adduction deformities were found to be left in all feet and to be the most important cause of stress fractures of the metatarsal. All of four cases with congenital clubfoot had fractures of the fourth metatarsal, while others whose clubfeet were not congenital had fractures of the fifth metatarsal. This suggsts that underlying disorders have an effect on the stress force acting on metatarsi differencly.
