Three new Empis species of the subgenus Empis Linnaeus, 1758 and Coptophlebia Bezzi, 1909 (Diptera, Empididae, Empidinae) from France

Two new species belonging to the Empis subgenus Empis Linnaeus, 1758 and one new species belonging to the Empis subgenus Coptophlebia Bezzi, 1909 are described and illustrated, all of them from localities in France: Empis (Empis) inaequalis sp. nov., from two sites in the southern Alps (National nature reserve of Ristolas-Mont-Viso, Regional nature reserve of Partias—05); Empis (Empis) pinstoni sp. nov. from four sites in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (National nature reserve of Sabot de Frotey—70, National nature reserve of Val de Loire—58, National nature reserve of Bois du parc—89, Commune of Solutré-Pouilly—71526); Empis (Coptophlebia) tissoti sp. nov., from Burgundy, commune of Monéteau (89263).
