摘要
Graphene/MOF-based composites can be applied for the efficient treatment of oil-containing wastewater. In their Communication on page 5297 ff., H. Fan, H. Meng, and co-workers describe the fabrication of peculiar wrinkled ZIF-8@rGO microspheres with both superhydrophobic and superoleophilic properties by a high-temperature reduction self-assembly. A robust ZIF-8@rGO@Sponge adsorbent prepared from this material by using a commercial PU sponge showed excellent oil–water separation performance and good recyclability.
