Coronary restenosis: mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment in contemporary practice

In-stent restenosis stands out among the late complications of coronary angioplasty. Initially, it occurred in up to 60% of procedures using only balloons, but dropped to 10% with the advent of drug-eluting stents, even in more complex anatomic and technical scenarios.
