Case 6-2020: A 34-Year-Old Woman with Hyperglycemia

A 34-year-old woman was evaluated for hyperglycemia. Nine years earlier, she had had an elevated glucose level, and subsequently, diabetes was diagnosed during her four pregnancies. Both of her parents had type 2 diabetes. Currently, the body-mass index was 25.4 and the glycated hemoglobin level 6.2%. A diagnostic test was performed.
