Identification and Determination of Adulterant of Honeysuckle

Objective To discuss the methods of identification and determination of the adulterant of honeysuckle.Methods The adulterant of honeysuckle was identified and determined by the appearance,physicochemical identification and HPLC methods.Results Alum and salt were found in the adulterant of honeysuckle.The appearance,physicochemical identification,moisture content,total ash content and determination of content all could not meet the requirements of the regulations.Conclusion The appearance and physicochemical identification is simple,rapid and accurate.
