6 species of Sorex have been recorded at the territory of Zeysky Nature Reserve (Amurskaya Oblast, Russian Federation); 3 of them are regarded as rare: the Flat-skulled shrew (Sorex roboratus Hollister, 1913 (= S. vir Gl.Allen, 1914)), the Siberian largetoothed shrew S. daphaenodon Thomas, 1907 and Eurasian least shrew (S. minutissimus Zimmermann, 1780). The Slender shrew (S. gracillimus Thomas, 1907) is more common. Laxmann's shrew (S. caecutiens Laxmann, 1788) and Taiga shrew (S. isodon Turov, 1924) are abundant. Comparing to the data from 1978-1980 S. roboratus strongly decreased and S. gracillimus seemingly increased in number.
