摘要
This paper proposes a field stack lighting (FSL) driving method and develops an OLED‐on‐silicon microdisplay with low power. By modulating subfield luminance across time and magnitude, FSL generates linear weights. Compared to the pulse width modulation (PWM), FSL achieves a power reduction of 39.33% and enhances OLED lifetime by 4.2 times. In contrast to analog amplitude modulation (AAM), minimum power reduction of FSL is noted to be 57.15%.
